I've never met Tim I didn't even know who Tim was other than a guy who frequents the same messageboard. This small bit of familiarity didn't stop him from being a solid dude.
While I was staying with Chico, I mentioned that the skateboards he puts out are right on. Word got back to Tim and before I knew it, I had a package sent to me in Portland. The bountiful contents included the same fresh deck that I saw at Chico's, Low Card magazine, stickers, pins, and what seems to be some homemade moonshine! This is the best package I have received in a long time! It was like Christmas in November...
Now, I'm not a drinker but for some reason I am really excited about the spirits that Tim has managed to capture in this jar. I love to witness drunken shenanigansand I will make sure the libations are put to good use. The deck will go on the wall, and the stickers will find there way onto bikes, poles, walls, doors, cars, and anywhere else I feel that needs one.
Thanks again Tim. Your support is appreciated. If you need anything on the westcoast, just hollar
Circumstances out of my control determined that canada didn't want me. So, I've decided to head back to portland and set up shop. I know... Its kind of anti-climactic... But what can you do?
Its been a great trip and hopefully I can do it again. I appreciate all of the help I received along the way and all of the kind words of encouragement I got from you guys. Thanks for watching!
This isn't the end for me. I want to do some more traveling in the spring and summer, so stay tuned
I will continue updates on any changes I make to the bike and any ideas I have about traveling.
